“Spring”ing Forward

Hello friends and gospel music fans! Spring has sprung here in Kentucky and the Patriot Quartet wants to wish you a wonderful year as we all serve the Lord in our own way(s).

Since my last post (my, it seems a long time ago) the Patriots have been singing to a lot of very nice folks all around our region of the country, but concentrating more than usual perhaps on staying closer to home than we do in other seasons. You just never know what the weather will be from Christmas to Easter in Kentucky. The Lord has continued to bless us with the presence of His Spirit where ever we go and for this we are so grateful. We’re also grateful for all our wonderful “fans” that keep showing up when we are within their area. We especially want to express our love and appreciation to that special group from the Perryville Kentucky area. Your loyalty and dedication to our ministry and your smiling faces at our concerts mean more to us than you will ever know. Thanks, and may God bless all of you!

The book, Angels at the Crossroads by Ann Gabhart, depicting the the amazing story of Jerry Shepherd’s early life and the saving power of God’s amazing Grace, is doing great! Ann, an established author with fifteen previously published books, and Jerry, who is ofcourse the tenor for the Patriot Quartet, agree that God put them together for the purpose of making this great testimony available. Although the book is Ann’s first self-published book and her first non-fiction effort, it is selling well and has already begun to win awards. For more information about the book and how to get your copy, as well as information on Ann’s other books, go to Ann’s website at www.annhgabhart.com .

Please pray for the Patriot Quartet as we work to record a new project. It will be titled Standing for God and Country and will feature a number of original songs along with a few standards. Several of these songs have patriotic themes. We are very excited about this new project because we believe God is in it. Look forward to the first radio release from the project this spring, probably in May.

Goodbye for now. We hope to see you at a concert soon. Don’t forget to send us your comments and well wishes. We love to hear from you.
